Sure, you don't need to buy a brand new car that will lose half it's value in two years. If you want a new car that will be reliable, the better thing to do is look around at dealerships for a car that is already a couple of years old (without too many miles on it). It will cost much less than the newer miles, still be reliable, and will maintain it's value better than a brand new car. I have bought cars that were one or two years old with less than 25,000 miles on them, and paid just over half the price of a brand new car.

You don't need a good credit score to get by in life, but it sure is helpful. Your credit score is checked for employment, getting a cell phone, and setting auto insurance rates. Its use is not limited to credit card application approval.

Furthermore, you don't need debt to have a good credit score. In fact, paying your credit cards off every month leads to a higher credit score than carrying a balance because your credit utilization percentage is lower.

I do believe that you need to leverage on other's people money if you want to achieve financial freedom. You need to leverage to reach the next higher level.
Most people gets in debt because they spend more than they can bring in. In business, we leverage when we see investment opportunity which will being about positive return of investment.
