		<description>While I agree that taking out a loan to improve your credit score is silly, getting a credit card while you are a student is a great way to improve your credit.  Card issuers are very liberal about issuing cards to students.  There is no reason to ever pay any interest on the card (or cards), in fact you don&#039;t even have to use it.  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Anyone who ever wants to rent, get a job involving money, get insurance, or get a mortgage will serve themselves well by disregarding your contention that building credit is not important.</description>
