Ok, first off, the above commenter is brilliant, no? First off, modern cars do not need to be warmed up to operating temperature before being driven. I promise. And global warming is a myth? Interesting theory, but it doesn't hold water, especially with an example like "its cold out, there cant be global warming". And I noticed you are anonymous...hmmm..

Anyways, thanks for the list gettinggreen...and I have one to add - get a job near your house so you can walk to walk or ride a scooter or the bus!

How lame... how long did you spend researching this list? 15 seconds? Oh, and I am getting seriously tired of people telling me not to warm up my car cuz I am wasting gas. If it is 10 degrees outside, guess what temperature my engine is? Quick guess, 10 degrees. That means that my oil is, you got it, 10 degrees. When oil is cold its viscosity is far less than it should be to do its job as a lubricant (following me so far?). Which means you want to keep your engine at the least amount of RPMs possible to cause the least amount of potential damage to your vehicle. The people who don't warm up their cars are the ones who are constantly visiting the mechanic shop and complaining that their engine isn't running right. I am not willing to be one of those people. Oh and the global warming thing is just a myth. There is still no scientific evidence to support it. In fact, February proved to be the coldest February we have seen in 28 years. Where is the global warming there????
