		<description>Saying that the only thing that made sense was to raise taxes is highly argumentative, also.  It was tax cuts earlier in the 80s that helped drastically increase tax revenues flowing into the federal government, after a drastic tax increase slowed them down.  Asking people to pay MORE when there&#039;s a recession is just backwards.</description>
