Honestly, have we really seen any car, or SUV for that matter that looks original. Looking at a silhouette of all cars now, they all look the same, because the feds require all this MPG standards, and car designers are fresh out of ideas to make cars look cool again... they all have to have the same aerodynamics.

As for buying an SUV, we just got a mini van. Not very manly, I know. I miss my Tacoma that I could go down a dirt road with to find a cool fishing spot, or go over the curb on the street to get around some moron that doesn't know what an "ACCELERATION" lan is for. But honestly I have wanted one since I was 8 years old, and with the new baby, I wanted one even more.

Show me an SUV with a sliding side door and I am sold.

I wonder what you think the directors of car companies will do to battle this malaise in their industry. They must have some smart people who can offer innovative ideas. The oil companies’ fortunes are beginning to slide too. But they have some very experienced people. See today’s NewsVisual article on ExxonMobil: http://www.newsvisual.com/newsvisual/2007/11/exxonmobil.html
