Yeah, we are those people they hate. I can't think of the last time I ordered a soda at McDonalds. I'll just order the double cheeseburgers and value menu fries (although I may cut out the fries since most locations now have the small instead of the medium fries for a dollar now). I'll usually just order a water to drink if I don't already have a beverage in the car. I make a habit of grabbing a can drink before I leave the house or office, so this isn't very often. But in all reality, I started drinking water only because in college, I was poor, and cheap, and while my friends spent $5 to $10 a week by ordering a soda with their meals, I saved that much :) Old habits die hard.
