Getting too many inquiries on your credit report can become an issue with your overall FICO score. http://www.RemoveMyCreditInquiries.org is a site I found that is ran by a community service group that can help you remove credit report inquiries for $9.99. You do all of the leg work but they provide lawyer made dispute letters to remove credit inquiries. They also have letters for collections, late comments and debt settlement written by lawyers too on another website.

I recently disputed negative items on my credit report last year, and few were deleted, along with on time payments and payment establishing my credit score went from 526 to 634 in about a year. Now that ti am tryting to get other stuff removed by disputing my debt dropped $8,000. and more stuff was deleted. But, 2 things that were removed last year were put on again a few days ago, bringing my score down to 605. Can i recover from this? because I want my score to be at least 660, for when i start looking to buy a home in mid to late august. Can you help me. JamesPrud@yahoo.com

Just so you're aware, the word "then" is to do with time, the word "than" is to do with a comparison of two or more things... so "Paying your bills more THEN 30 days late" is inaccurate grammar.

Have a great day!

& Thanks for the tips! :)

Hi, why would a credit score vary 200 points between Credit Reporting Agencies? My Equifax score is 200 points lower than TransUnion.

We were pre-approved 150,000 for a home loan. A week later, we were told that the dti was too high. We are now approved for 105,000. Considering the home in which we would like to have is 137,900. Should we wait a couple of months, pay off a few revolving accounts, and try again, or take what we can get? Please advise....thank you and have a wonderful day!

What if credit bureau like Equifax wont remove an item that has no creditor listed so you can not deal with a creditor because you don't know who the creditor is and they wont take it off?

For Sandral - Feel free to send this article to anyone you want by simply sending the web address. You may also blog about it if you like.

For Judith Ann Watkins - I will respond to you through email.

For Nancy Chavez - I am not sure if you are asking a question, but if you are repairing your credit, check back for part 2 and 3 of this series as those can help with repairing credit the most.

I have no mortgage, but am taking out a home equity load of $22,000.00 but decided not to use it. My bank told me to go ahead and have it ready if I decide to use it. Will this effect my credit score?
