If on occasion I really stock up and spend $250 or more, we can usually skip a full week of shopping by only spending about $50-75 dollars more in a week. Plus it save you the hassle factor. Now, make a list of which stores are near each other - in my city, CVS and Kroger are across the street from each other; Walgreens and Rite Aid are at another corner; and Meijer, Wal-Mart, Staples and Lowe's are all in the same neighborhood. Then plan errands accordingly. If I like what's in the Kroger flier that week, I'll look to see if there is anything of interest in the CVS flier so I can make one trip to that part of town.
