I have a point I would like to add. I just bought a new home and had the best realtor ever! I couldn't have been happier. Anyway, I know track record was mentioned but, experience in real estate related issues are important too. My realtor went above and beyond for me. She was able to refer me to an amazing loan officer that also went above an beyond for me. I was very lucky that she was so experienced and her network of professionals were also so good. I had a few credit related issues that I had been dealing with for years that weren't even my fault but were showing up on my credit report just the same. The items belonged to my father but I am a Jr. so it showed up on my credit report for some reason. Well, she referred me to a few different websites that hse uses on a regular basis. One of the websites was: www.CollectionAccount.net. It was full of info about different collection agencies that attempt to collect debt. It just so turned out that four of the collection agencies listed on this site were the ones harassing me. The site pointed me in another direction and I ended up getting the professional help I needed to clear up the issues but, the point I am trying to make is... I couldn't have done it without my realtor. She was amazing!
