8 MORE Websites You Should Know About – But Probably Don’t

Earlier I listed 8 websites that you probably don’t know about, but should because they are either useful or entertaining. I discovered new ones that you might want to take a peak at- particularly the first on this list!
- MousePrint Are you noticing that food items seem to be shrinking but the price remains the same (or worse, increases?) Mouse Print is on to it, and is letting the world know what’s hidden in all that “fine print”. They are also great at pointing out other issues with company advertisements to watch out for- stuff that’s advertised ‘free’ when it really isn’t, etc!
- DestroyDebt A community of people working hard to eliminate their debt – it’s a little like MySpace for debtors. You can read blogs from real people about things that work and what doesn’t; write your own blog if you desire, and participate in the forums.
- Book Mooch Stop paying for books! List your read books with the site and mail them to people who are interested. For every book you mail to another book mooch user, you’ll earn points. Redeem your points to “buy” someone elses books.
- Blurb. Make your own book – photos, text, artwork, anything you want. You can create hardcover or softcover masterpieces and the prices are affordable. If you order more than one copy of the same book, you get discounts, too.
- Letterfu Want to save trees but love the personal value of sending a real letter over email sometimes? Save some trees by printing from this site, following folding instructions and using the same letter to mail. No need for envelopes.
- BookCrossing. I can’t wait to try this actually! When you finish a book you leave it on a park bench or at the gym – anywhere it may find a new reader. You put in the URL of the site so the new reader joins and tells you where the book has traveled… interesting concept. Give your book an adventure!
- Household Notebook. This site helps you organize your household with printable worksheets and checklists. Create your own household organization binder following their instructions and finally find the order you’ve been missing.
- Study Guides & Strategies. A site that helps you prepare and study more effectively. Extremely useful resources for students of all ages.
