Its amazing to me how many people keep secrets about their finances from their spouses. I feel so lucky, because my boyfriend and I have been together for about a year and a half, and he works with an author, who's focus is Money Madness. Yes, he is an investment banker, but he focuses on the emotions we have around money, why we lie to our "other half", and how we can change these behaviors. I guess I'm writing, because I was one of those people... i was just lying to myself. I feel so blessed that Jes came into my life, because whether we workout or not...(which im thinking wedding bells) :) I will always have this newly discovered insight about money. And the best thing? We don't hid ANYTHING about our finances with one another... he knows everything I do, from the fact that I had NO control over my money when we met, to the fact that I know EXACTLY how much money I owe, have in my accounts, etc. I really, truly give the majority of credit to what I learned from Spencer Sherman... thank you so much Spencer! I just hope I can share this with EVERYONE who keeps secrets about their money...not just with others, but especially with yourself. It is so rewarding to finally come clean...

Check it out....
