If you’ve been a fan of goal setting or planning for your future, you’ve probably read a number of articles and books that tell you without a plan you’re just planning to fail.  If you think about that for a minute, it makes a lot of sense: if you don’t have a plan or a goal – how will you know when you’ve reached success?  There isn’t anything to measure your success against without a goal – and there is no road map to reach your goal without a plan.

Many people wonder how much money they need to retire.  If you like, and are motivated to do so, you can take that one step further and figure out the amount you would need saved in order to live your ideal life.  With a plan, you could even achieve this number well before your retirement years.  Living your ideal life would mean living out your life’s purpose – and in order to do that you would need to figure out what your purpose actually is!

Figuring out your life’s purpose is pretty challenging – and trying to figure out how much money you would need to set aside in order to start fulfilling that purpose can seem downright impossible!  But if you truly want to succeed, you really do need to take some time to figure that out. There is a methodology for coming up with your Number (and, your Life’s Purpose … if you feel so inclined) in a fairly easy to follow, step-by-step process at ShareYourNumber.com.

Once you’ve gotten an idea what your Life’s Purpose is and the Number you need to live out that ideal life, you might be interested in a simple social network centered around the concept of Sharing Your Number: your Number could be $1 Million by 2028 … or, $10 Million by 2012 … it doesn’t matter. What’s important is that you connect with like-minded people and share your journey(s).   This social network for sharing your life’s purpose and “magic” number can be found at http://www.shareyournumber.org/
