Prosper does indeed have a credit score requirement. It was introduced in 2006.

Prosper has been closed to p2p lending for months and is currently the subject of a class action lawsuit for violating SEC regulations.

Do you do any actual research before you write about things?

Social lending is a great resource for people and organizations. ZimpleMoney is providing loan management tools for friends, family, and organizations. You can manage loans, leases, settlement, tithing and most other recurring financial payments. Take a look at our site, www.zimplemoney.com, Zimpley, Steve Rabago, ZEO ZimpleMoney

I tried social lending to refinance my credit card debt 6 months ago. Everyone should. It was easy, hassle free and 2 or 3 % points cheaper than the bank's line of credit.

Prosper is cool cuz the lenders bid so in theory you could get a lower rate, but Lending Club gave me a better deal from the get go (they tell you your rate when you apply). I also like not having to post photos about me. So went with the LendingClub.

Highly recommended if you have good credit score.
