Pay Per Episode Download Services

Download for a Fee

You can find tons of TV shows with these sites, but you will either need to pay for the individual show or season or will need to have a paid subscription.

Netflix. Pay for a netflix subscription and you can download some of your favorite shows (like The Office) as many times as you want for no additional fee.

YouTube

Youtube is really not meant for television episodes (unless the creators of the show are uploading them and own copyright) – never the less, you can usually find popular television shows submitted on Youtube.  Due to file restrictions, you’ll probably get 3-6 video clips for each episode.

“Ted”

The Ted service makes it easy to find your favorite tv shows online and you can download individual episodes or entire seasons.

iTunes. Did you know iTunes is more than music?  You can buy individual episodes for around $2 or so a day after they air on television.

Direct2Drive.You can pay and download shows right to your computer for about the price of paying for the DVD.

Don’t want to sit in front of your computer to watch tv shows?  Many laptops can be connected to your television through the S-Video and various inputs (check your laptop and/or television manual for instructions).  Netflix sells a unit for use with their subscription service which allows you to transfer any video you watch on Netflix “instantly” to your television screen rather than your computer monitor.
