		<description>Good point - it is all about priorities.  If you have serious debt problems your credit score is likely to be hit sooner or later if you do not take steps to address the situation.  Better to take control and deal with the main problem and accept that your score is going to be a problem for a while.</description>

		<description>Many of the fee-charging debt management companies here in the UK are not very good - not getting payments to creditors and the second highest pro rata payment is usually the fee to the company. It&#039;s great if you can re-jig your finances to keep a good credit score but reality must be faced if money that should be spent on heating, housekeeping, rent/mortgage, local taxes and other essentials is being syphoned off to pay creditors.
