The Humane Society of the United States is the nation’s largest and most effective animal protection organization—backed by 10 million Americans, or one in every 30. Established in 1954, The HSUS seeks a humane and sustainable world for all animals—a world that will also benefit people.

This year the HSUS is running a photo contest to help raise funds to spay and neuter pets, to as Bob Barker so eloquently puts it, “help control the pet population.” The way the contest works is that you can enter a phot of your pet, then the public will vote for their favorite pets with purchased votes, and then the pet with the most votes at the end of the contest will win a pretty nifty prize package.

We at American Consumer News, LLC have entered our much-loved cat, Mittens, into the contest. If you would like to help the Humane Society of the United States by supporting Mittens in this contest, click here to vote.

You can also enter your own pet.
