I don’t know how I’ve never come across Fire Finance before now, considering I frequent what feels like thousands of personal finance blogs on a regular basis. I discovered this blog today because they are the host of the Carnival of Personal finance, and you’ve got to head over and see how cute their site layout is, not to mention sign up for their software giveaway (You Need a Better Budget Pro, worth $50).
As usual, the carnival offers up a great list of finance themed posts, including:
- IRA or Roth IRA? Which One is Better? – Matthew Paulson, Fine Tuned Finances
- Rampant Inflation: My Big Early Retirement Worry – Elizabeth G, Modern Gal
- No-Grocery-Shopping Week – Todd, Harvesting Dollars
- Financial Plan for the Young and Single – Savings Toolbox
- Your Home Office: Ideas To Set Up Your Place of Work – Silicon Valley Blogger, The Digerati Life
- Best Rates Not Always the Best Deals – Credit Card Assist
- Simple and Easy Methods to Reduce Your Debt Significantly – Debt Freedom Fighter, Discover Debt Freedom
And then, my favorite simply because the quoted summary of the article made me laugh:
I’m Dumb For Consolidating My Student Loan – “Who said consolidating was a good idea? I wish I could punch them in the face” – Debt Ninja, Punch Debt In The Face
