The latest way to take in more media at one time comes from AT&T with the introduction of their TV app, My Multiview. Today marks the launch of this app from AT&T U-verse®, offering customers the choose of four of their favorite television channels to be displayed on their TV screen at one time. If you are a master multi-tasker or just trying to give everyone in the family their fair share of TV time, this app will allow you to select up to 55 channels that will be saved as favorites in your own Multiview. This eliminates the need to surf channels in search of your favorite program or miss the game scrolling through the program guide for the right channel. Instead you can use your My Multiview to control and select which channels appear on your TV screen. One channel can be designated as the main picture with sound while the others will appear along the side of the screen.

As stated in a press release available at www.att.com, “For the first time ever, you can customize your Multiview so you can choose and control which of your favorite channels you watch on your TV screen at one time. AT&T U-verse and My Multiview are changing how you watch TV,” said Jeff Weber, vice president of video services, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. “The channel combinations for My Multiview are virtually endless, and we’re proud to offer our U-verse customers even more personalization with this exclusive app.”

My Multiview is the most recent app made available from AT&T U-verse, adding to the popular Multiview apps that are already being enjoyed by Multiview customers. They include a Sports Multiview, Kids Multiview, News Multiview and occasionally special Multiviews that are made available during major sporting events throughout the year.

The only 100 percent Internet Protocol-based television service to be offered by a national service provider, AT&T U-verse is considered one of the most feature-rich services available in the current market. New customers choosing U-verse will be offered a $25 monthly discount on TV packages for the first six months. U-verse packages with a DVR will start at $29 per month and any customer who opts for U-verse Choice bundles will be rewarded with additional savings.
