About
American Consumer News
American Consumer News, which formerly operated under the name FinanceIsPersonal.com, is an extension of our desire to help other people become better managers of money. In the last few decades, consumer debt levels have skyrocketed and personal responsibility have taken a back-seat to the culture of instant gratification and apathy towards long term financial consequences. This publication is our attempt to help reverse that trend by educating others to be savvy and empowered consumers.
